About

Hello. A bit about me then. I’ve been working in the creative realm for over two decades – writing, drawing, acting and directing. At heart I’m a storyteller so I concentrate mainly on the written word. Recently I’ve been contributing stories for the Harry Hill strip in the new-look Dandy comic and writing/drawing a Doctor Who-themed monthly strip for the revamped classic sci-fi/fantasy mag Starburst.

Back in the naughty nineties I was a co-founder of Brighton’s Co-Active Theatre Factory and the popular comedy night Clutching at Straws. I’ve worked as a cartoonist,  presented shows on Brighton Festival Radio and directed short films.

I love developing stories for the adult and children’s book markets as well as film and comedy scripts.  When I have the time I like to travel, draw, cycle, dabble with film and take photos. Sometimes I work as a voice artiste. I’m half-Irish and live in a converted cave in deepest Sussex.
